NEB publishes SEE results

The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). The results will be formally announced by holding a press conference on Thursday afternoon. Out of 4 lakh 85 thousand 396 examinees who appeared in the SEE, 22,475 students got A+ (GPA) score, said Bishnu Narayan Sharma, Controller of the National Examination Board.

Ruling coalition says UML’s call for PM’s resignation is against “parliamentary values”

One arrested for raping a minor in Lalitpur

Police have arrested a person for raping a minor girl who had gone to LOD (Lord of Drinks) Club in Thamel. Siddhi Bikram Shah, SSP at the District Police Circle, Lalitpur, said that 50-year-old Sudan Bahadur Koirala, was arrested on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl who had gone to LOD Club on June 13.

Government bans plastic bags below 40 microns

The government has banned plastic bags and products below 40 microns. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration in a statement today announced this ban. The statement issued by the ministry secretary Dr Krishna Hari Pushkar urged people not to use plastic bags and products as far as possible and use polythene bags below 40 microns.
