KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has given a 7-day ultimatum to remove the temporary structures built inside the Lalita Niwas premises.
Issuing a notice on Sunday, the Metropolis urged the concerned authority and the individuals to remove the illegal constructions including the temporary structures.
Earlier, a team of the Metropolitan City officials reached Lalita Niwas in Baluwatar to inspect and fence the disputed land.
The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police concluded that a case should be filed against 400 people including government employees, businessmen, and land mafia in the Lalita Niwas land grab case.
The police concluded that 143 ropani-land of Lalita Niwas was embezzled.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has already filed a case in a Special Court claiming that 136 ropani-land has been encroached upon in Lalita Niwas, Baluwatar.
