KATHMANDU: The inauguration of the ‘Tourism Police Training’ marks a significant effort to provide exceptional assistance to foreign tourists visiting Nepal.

The 18-day training program, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation; Tourism Police Office, Bhrikutimandap; and Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management Institute, commenced in Kathmandu.

The primary objective of this training is to enhance the professional capacity of the tourism police, enabling them to contribute effectively to preserving the distinct identity of the country and its people.

Furthermore, the training aims to reinforce the core principle of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava,’ emphasizing the importance of considering guests as manifestations of the divine.

A select group of 30 police personnel are participating in this comprehensive training, equipping them with specialized skills to deliver exceptional service and ensure a memorable experience for international visitors in Nepal.
