APF team rescues python

MAHENDRANAGAR: A team of Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal on Sunday rescued a python from the southern belt of Kanchanpur district and handed it over to the forest officials.

The 7-ft python was rescued from Bhurakot of Belauri Municipality-6 along the Nepal-India border.

The 35th Battalion of the APF at Shaileshwori said that the python was rescued and thanks to the Division Forest.

APF Superintendent Birendra Air said that the security personnel are also active in the conservation of wildlife besides border security.
