KATHMANDU: Transport management offices in Kathmandu Valley have been closed indefinitely following a rapid surge in coronavirus cases.
The offices have been providing bill book and license renewal services through an odd-even system.
As many as 168 persons in Kathmandu Valley have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Speaking at a regular press briefing on Monday, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that t139 persons from Kathmandu, 15 from Lalitpur and 14 from Bhaktapur have been infected with the pandemic virus.
