KATHMANDU: A Nepal Airlines aircraft carrying 260 Australians stranded in Nepal landed at Brisbane Airport on Thursday morning, Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Peter Budd has said.

Ambassador Budd tweeted on Thursday saying that the Nepal Airlines’ Airbus 330 landed safely in Brisbane, Australia, adding “Nepalis should be rightfully proud.”

The Australian Embassy in Nepal had chartered the NA aircraft to evacuate Australian and New Zealand citizens stranded in Nepal due to the nationwide lockdown here.
